What you'll need:
- 6 cups rice crispy cereal
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 package chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- In small sauce pan bring to boil over medium high heat the syrup and sugar, stirring often
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until completely mixed.
- Pour mix into large bowl and add cereal slowly until incorporated
- I usually don't use up all of the cereal. Just add enough so the cereal is coated, but not dry looking.
- Pour cereal mix into greased 13 x 9 pan, spread evenly
- Immediately pour the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips on top of mixture.
- I didn't have enough chips this time, but there will usually be about a 1/4 of an inch layer of chocolate on the top.
- Wait a few minutes until chips are melted and spread with spatula.
Quick, easy and delicious! Works well with corn flakes too!
ENJOY!
